Check the event year
Use the organiser’s own website for dates, location, programme and tickets. An annual event can change its dates or venue.
Winter light art
The next Lux Helsinki is announced for 30 December 2026–6 January 2027. It should therefore not be described simply as a January event.
Summer celebrations
Midsummer can involve cottage stays and community events. Do not assume a bonfire is permitted: check fire restrictions. For a music or opera trip, confirm tickets and accommodation separately.
Keep plans flexible
Consider weather, transport, accessibility and cancellation conditions. Do not assume food or extra activities are included in admission.
